Queen Anne Local and Long Distance Moving Companies

Queen Anne is a wealthy, upscale urban neighborhood located in Seattle, just northwest of the Downtown District of the big city. The median home value in the neighborhood of Queen Anne is $656,504, while median rent is currently around $1,745 per month. Queen Anne stretches all the way up the legendary Queen Anne Hill, to the ship canal on the other side of the neighborhood. This urban neighborhood is divided into two districts, Upper and Lower Queen Anne, and they are quite different in many ways. Lower Queen Anne is a mixed-income neighborhood, that has a unique, interesting mix of independent local bookstores and record shops, quirky pubs and quite a few exclusive restaurants and bars.

When you pass Aloha Street, the Lower Queen Anne neighborhood starts to look more upscale, with the flashy and snazzy Galer Street commercial strip dividing the neighborhoods of Lower and Upper Queen Anne. Queen Anne doesn’t have many scenic sights, breathtaking views, or a wide variety of green spaces and parks, but the residential streets west of Queen Anne Avenue in Upper Queen Anne are fun to walk on, and the sunny, summer days do sometimes even offer gorgeous views. This part of residential neighborhood extends to the Magnolia neighborhood. There’s only one sight to see in the unique neighborhood of Magnolia, but it’s a remarkable one, so get prepared to lose yourself in the magnificent nature of Discovery Park. You won’t find more spectacular views of Puget Sound, the Cascades, and the Olympics than in Discovery Park.

Located northwest of Downtown, Seattle’s largest park covers around 534 acres and has a wide selection of terrain: shaded, isolated forest trails that lead to gorgeous meadows, saltwater beaches, sand dunes, a lighthouse, and 2 miles of protected beaches. The North Beach Trail, which takes you on a unique adventure along the shore to the lighthouse, is a must-visit. Head to the South Bluff Trail to get a perfect view of Mt. Rainier.

If you’re looking for the perfect natural space to lose yourself in and take in the beauty of a warm, summer day, you’ll find everything you could possibly need in Kerry Park. Lovers of the visual and performing arts will love regular visits to the home of the Seattle Opera and the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Marion Oliver McCaw Hall which is a lavish structure reflecting the skies and the Space Needle nearby. Marion Oliver McCaw Hall also features two auditoriums and a four-story main lobby area where several artworks are on display. And if you’re interested in some fine or casual dining, Queen Anne doesn’t leave its residents with a shortage of options. Eden Hill is a tiny, exclusive restaurants which offers some of the most exciting and innovative food in the city, and Canlis Restaurant is another community favorite for opulent dining in Seattle.
