Ravenna Local and Long Distance Moving Companies
Ravenna is a neighborhood in Seattle, Washington with a population of 11,482. The median home value in Ravenna is $692,161, while median rent is currently around $1,655 per month.
Ravenna Boulevard extends all the way from Green Lake, past the University District, and on to the east toward Lake Washington. The delightful neighborhood that takes its name from this street is the perfect place to call home for a vast number of reasons. Ravenna was once known for its wilderness, the creek that flowed into Green Lake and the forest of massive trees. The trees were eventually removed to make space for residential real estate, but a large number of them still remain in the ravine at Ravenna.
This is an amazingly quiet and tranquil neighborhood, considering how close it is to the uproar and bustle of the University District and Greenlake. In fact, that’s a good way to describe the general vibe of the neighborhood of Ravenna – the residents want to be in on the fun, but still want a little bit of peace and quiet when they feel like it. A small portion of 65th Street near 20th Ave NE provides its residents just the right number of activities to keep the neighborhood alive, and to draw in a few visitors to catch a glimpse of this interesting neighborhood. Ravenna is also lucky enough to be the home of the University Village, known as U-Village shopping center, which is one of the biggest attractions found around the neighborhood, and the whole city at the same time.
Every average person’s first stop when visiting the neighborhood of Ravenna is undoubtfully the U-Village. This unique outdoor mall features an abundance of stores and dining options that you would otherwise only see in a downtown district of a bigger city, for example J. Crew, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, and H&M to name a few. It also features a few basic, essential stops, such as Gap, Barnes and Noble, and Eddie Bauer. This is the perfect place to take your family, in particular children of all ages, because this amazing complex offers a large play area, tons of cute shops geared toward children, and every child’s favorite place in the world, Trophy Cupcakes. In addition, during the summer, the Village closes off one of its parking lots and hosts numerous outdoor evening concerts, events and happenings, making this place one of the hottest spots in the larger surrounding area. Ravenna Park is also a destination that is definitely worth the visit. It first it might seem like a basic grassy field with some play equipment, but you will soon come to the realization that Ravenna Park is hiding almost 50 acres of wooded land and many trails that meander through the ravine and connect to Cowen Park near the University District. And if you’re looking for a specific place to grab a bite, from the chain-locations of Starbucks, Blue C Sushi and Johnny Rockets to the local and unique Grateful Bread, Rain City Burgers, and the Sunflour Cafe, there are dining options galore in Ravenna, and you might even find your weekly stop for Thai food, vegan meals, baked goods, wines and spirits, or a great burger.

What a great group of guys! Hard workers great attitudes all around nice guys! I appreciate all the hard work and treatment of all my stuff as if it was your stuff! Wouldn't think twice to use this company and this group of guys again! Thanks again guys.
Mark and Alex just moved ALL of my things from Ballard to Queen Anne and they were EXCELLENT! I had this couch in storage that they had to take the legs off of just to get it out of the unit. Then they finagled it into the room somehow - they are moving wizards! HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys!
We had an awesome experience with this company. We needed movers on pretty short notice and they worked us into their schedule. Their rates are very reasonable-especially if you pay in cash. Our movers were Mark, Alex, and Yedil, and they were all friendly and super efficient but still very careful with our things. I still cannot believe how quickly and smoothly the whole process went. Would definitely hire these guys again!
